2 Brothers Gin Malt Wins Silver Medal

2024 - Dendermonde, Belgium - The World Drink Awards has announced the winners of its country-specific World Gin Awards, and 2 Brothers Premium Gin Malt from Dendermonde has taken home a silver medal in the Signature Botanical category.

The 2 Brothers Premium Gins are barely a year old, but they have already captured their first prize at the World Gin Awards in London. The Malt edition from the two brothers in Grembergen won a silver medal in the Signature Botanical subcategory. "This is a prestigious category that includes traditionally distilled gins that honor juniper with an exceptional touch using a specific botanical," they say. "For us, that is malt wine, mainly made from grain from Flemish farmers."

A World of Possibilities

The two brothers from Grembergen emphasize that the possibilities offered by the Malt edition have undoubtedly played a role in its success. "A classic gin & tonic with cardamom is delicious, but the Malt edition is also perfectly suited for warm drinks such as the Hot Gin Toddy, or even as an aperitif," they explain.

The brothers hope that the silver medal will open doors to regions outside of Dendermonde and are extremely grateful to their Dendermonde partners who made the launch possible. Moreover, with the start of sales at the Austrian hotel Alpen Residence in Ehrwald, the first steps have already been taken outside of Belgium.
